Goal 1 – No Poverty! / Canada

In the goal number one, it is about No Poverty. I choose to research Canada country because it is my favorite country. I found out that the poverty rate in Canada is 4.8 million people in Canada or 13.9% live in poverty or 1 in 7. What cause the poverty in Canada? Because of the income that each of the Canadian get, it will cause the problem and lead to poverty. The average income in Canada overall in 2005 is $ 63,457 and in 2015 it increase to $ 70,336. In percent it increase 10.8 %. GDP per ca-pita mean your salary per year. In Canada, GDP per ca-pita is $ 42,348.9 in 2016 and $ 45, 032.1 in 2017. Because of of the income is too low, in average 11 Canadians dying per day. However, Canadian government trying to help fight the poverty and they spend billions of dollar annually on poverty.
